Tri Pointe Homes Set To Bring 774 New Houses To The Valley

SAN TAN VALLEY, AZ — Tri Pointe Homes is looking to bring 774 new homes to the Valley, after acquiring 252 acres of land in San Tan Valley.

Tri Pointe, previously known as Maracay, purchased the land for around $27.7 million, and is set to build its Ware Farms planned community there, according to a news release.

Housing stock is low across the Valley, contributing to skyrocketing housing prices over the past year, so any additional homes set to go on the market is welcome news to potential homebuyers.

Land development in the Ware Farms community is set to start this summer, with house sales to begin in 2024. Tri Pointe has already bought the land on which the first 774 Ware Farms homes are set to be built. In total, Tri Pointe eventually plans to build 1,435 in the Ware Farms community.

Tri Point plans to offer four home design options at Ware Farms, with lots ranging from 48 to 65 feet wide. The Ware Farms community is set to include a central clubhouse, swimming pool, event lawns, two-acre lake, sport fields and basketball courts.

"Delivering homes that are life-changing by design and amenities that are lifestyle-enriching is our core approach and added to that is the great Ware Farms location in San Tan Valley," James Attwood, Tri Pointe Homes Arizona Division president said in the release. "This is very exciting from a development opportunity standpoint and even more so for our customers who will enjoy the outstanding quality and convenience each and every day."
